I did actually - for about €170.
Except for memory and bandwidth, the Asus 960 has higher stats than most 380 I can find and I read quite a few good reviews and benchmarks and it just seems to be the better bang for the buck.

the memory bandwidth doesn't really matter as maxwell is designed to use a narrower bandwidth, which a lot of people seem to miss when they criticise the 960 for having 128-bit, and i meant the new 380X which has just been released.
