College student here. Generally speaking, the social media world has diversified from 2009-2010. Twitter and Instagram now compete for space with Facebook. BUT the majority of college females still use Facebook excessively. It's like the gathering point or some shit. In class, any female with her laptop open is either on Facebook or Tumblr. Or viewing Tumblr memes on Facebook. Viewing "viral videos" on Facebook. Getting their fucking news from Facebook.
I think userbases may have changed the past few years as well. Idk what happened to all the males on Facebook, but I generally don't see/hear of many anymore. Maybe all the males moved to Instagram when the booty moved there.
