What terminal emulator does /g/ use? right now I'm using xterm but I'm just wondering if there is something better.
>>
rxvt-unicode (urxvt)
It's pretty decent.

URxvt

if you're a fag, try termite. otherwise, go with urxvt. nothing else is worth the time of day

Doesn't exist lol.

I used urxvt but after moving to wayland I couldn't find a way for it to parse my settings again. So I started using terminator. I must say it's pretty noice after a bit of configuration

This.

I'm pretty anti-bloat generally, so I tried st once. Never again. It's really shit.

But the source code is very clean, so I might use it as a base to build a better terminal emulator. One day. Maybe

xterm is fine and actually fills in spaces too small for terminal text as well.

urxvt is only useful if you need your terminal to run as a daemon because it takes your shitbox more than a split second to spawn a new terminal

oh god

No thanks, urxvt works and is fast enough.

I thought it was cool, and a good reason to do a bash script.

terminator with zsh configured in the oh-my-zsh framework.

>muh hipster shell
to be honest family it is really /comfy/

So far we have three contenders for best terminal emulator:

>urxvt
>terminator
>xterm

Advantages and disadvantages of each?
>>
>>51419414
terminator is redundant, just use tmux.
xterm is really old, but still performs in a pinch.
i prefer urxvt because it can run as a daemon and clients (urxvtd and urxvtc)

I just use xfce4-terminal with dwm, desu. Works like a charm.
