Is the K&R C book worth reading in 2015? I'm decent with Java and Objective C but have never touched C

No, you wont learn programming with it. It is more like a referance book.

I'm not looking to learn programming - just the C language
>>51398187
absolutely. if you've been programming already for a while it'll probably join up some dots for you fill in some gaps you may not know you had etc plus its a freaking classic.

get away from C you java fag
>>51398210
horseshit.

there is more to a language than the syntax so yes, you are lookin to learn programming. Plus, whatever you know already is different from C.

Don't listen to these children, K&R is the word of god.
In all seriousness, it's a great book. I'm assuming you understand you fully understand the JVM and it's memory management model--C will just be a more hands on way of doing things that you likely already understand.

Unfortunately, I appear to not understand the English language.
just read the C faq and the standard and start following the C tag on stack overflow
