Also about the housefires, people buy shitty power supplies because everyone shills maxwell efficiency, most people that buy AMD have a 650w+, 80+ bronze psu.
So in that regard the AMD system will cause less housefires.

I try to stay neutral, but I tend to favour amd a bit more. And now that AMD releases monthly drivers I'm glad that meme has ended.

That's given with die shrink. If they get similar or better numbers than NV, they would become viable for me. Though given NV marketing, even with better product it doesn't look too well for AMD sadly.

I agree and it's obvious that they are the more likeable company but it's irrelevant for most customers. What counts is how their product performs compared to the competition and since Maxwell … they aren't doing a very good job.
