There is also a recent similar case, even Linus tested it, it works great and provide very low temps. Small compressors are not loud either, so it's just the perfect match.
Honestly I would pick this instead of water cooling, fixing the HVAC circuit is much easier - and it lasts almost forever. Even if the compressor dies, buy a new one (piss cheap), and off you go.
