Depends on the phone. With Galaxy s6 I'm using Mako Bullet. When it comes to aosp roms on previous phones I enjoyed Paranoid Android.

Nexus 6 here as well. Last ROM I tried was Cataclysm. Ran pretty good but started getting lag issues on some parts, particularly the notification shade. That shit was enough to make me go back to stock. My setup for the last two weeks has been stock 6.0 with Franco kernel for audio gain and screen color tweaking, and DPI reduced to around 500 (pretty good number, no weird graphical glitches). No lag or stuttering to be found, and I get 4 hours SoT kn average.

I have a gs3. Runs cm well. I installed something called slimkat and that's really zippy.
On my opo I may put on cm if I feel the need. But the stock oxygen is good RN.
