Use disconnect search. Its a interface for searching from all the major engines at your choice but through a proxy.

I've been using it for at least 2 years now, and I've never had a problem. Pretty much the same results, ability to search other sites with the "!" symbol, way less cluttered and easy on the eyes, and of course muh bubble and muh privacy
What is the problem with it?
