Assuming it uses the Gecko engine, it can't be better. The Gecko engine is an old relict from the Netscape times and has been getting slower and slower for years and there's nothing to salvage all that outdated code.

And If it doesn't use Gecko, it's not a "better Firefox".

Using it on an old small laptop from 2007. It isn't great, but it's not IE. I think it's like IE but actually good. Not better than the others, but good.

Midori uses an old version of webkit, which is hardly any better than Gecko.

Honestly, our saving grace might be Trident.

I was fed up with Firefox. Really frustrated. This was around the time of the Pocket Thing.

I looked around for browsers, and found Midori. Having used it before, I thought it was probably going to be a decent one, the default on some distros, I noted.

Then, I crashed it. I crashed it again, by accident. I tweaked settings and did things carefully. Then it crashed. THen it crashed again. Then I uninstalled it.

I am on jumanji, now. I like it. It does not crash.

Servo might improve things if it ever gets finished.

But right now the browser market is in a real shitty state as far as I'm concerned.

Needs to load once, after that it works fine.

The windows version is total shit compared to the linux version, which is actually nice, usable and visually appealing
