Granted I've been using one for just a day, and it's the crappiest one from the lumia line (530) it feels way better than android, but I'm already lacking a bit of small things:
-No loop timer app (gonna code it myself, should be simple)
-No google keep app, not even third party (google fault t.b.h.)
-Can't easily hide the porn, all apps I've seen are shit, or even ransomware (install free app to hide, "buy pro to unhide". I kekked reading the reviews.)

There is a file manager now, and the default keyboard is better than google keyboard.

So, basically, for basics need it's great, but browse the store before to see if there are the apps you need or some equivalent.

Again, take this post with a grain of salt given I've been using it for just one day.

What apps are you missing exactly? The only thing I'm missing is a .flac player that's able to run in the background but that's entirely Microsoft's fault for not supporting it.

Love my 1520. WP10 Dev preview has app sideloading so the one downside to my Lumia is coming to an end. Awesome durable phones as long as you get a Nokia.

I currenlty own a xperia z2, it works great but i'm tempted on going back to WP i used to have a lumia 520 if I move back I'd like the M8 WP variant is it good?

It's been the same thing for years now -- good phones with little to no mainstream app support.

From a social perspective, it's one of those things your friends and acquaintances will unconsciously look down on you for having.
