Hey guys, I want to buy a gaming notebook but I don't really know what I should look for in one. I hope you can help me.
The price should be between 1500 and 2500 swiss francs, which is about the same in us dollars (or about 1,390 - 2310 euros).
I thought about either a alienware 17 R2 A17-4112 or a Medion Erazer X7829. What do you think?

i have the alienware 17r2. its a pretty solid machine. fans are loud and it runs a little bit hot but it doesn't have thermal throttling so it doesn't really matter that much.
also the alienware graphics amplifier makes it much more worthwhile later on. you can just throw in a 980ti or something and reboot. it automatically overclocks the CPU and uses the desktop card as the primary.
