Transmission-gtk
>>51261087
It works nicely and is very light. Great for potatoes

This. Fast and stable. Only lacks sequential downloading.

Meme client plagued by slow UI and other issues. Has active developnent and will hopefully become a worthy successor to uT 221 in the future, but not yet.
>>51261306
I have used it for a couple of years now and I'm very happy with it. But I know next to nothing about these things. Just like that it was light and reasonably fast.
Deluge
>>51261033
depending on your needs, all of them are the best.
uTorrent 2.2.1
>>51261621
If you're running it on Windows I hope you have at least 64 GB of RAM.
>>51261033
uT221 most promising successor.
Windows user here, can I install uTorrent 2.2.1 in Linux with Wine?
>>51261048
I use qbittorrent on both win 7 and yosemite machines (at least 5 different computers)
I'm satisfied with it.
Am I the only one here using Deluge?

Mah sempai

Just use transmission or rtorrent, there is literally no reason to use wine for a torrent client
>>51261312
kek, enjoy your 50KB/s downloads.
Transmission is the best. Low system requirements, straightforward remote access via the web interface, placebo blocklist capabilities and you can set your max upload speed to zero.
deluge or fluid
Tixati, no contest
went from deluge to qbit
I like it
>>51261033
Bittorrent is the best one to use. Even its name tells you its the best one, it's name is the definition of what it's used for.
Deluge only uses 70mb of memory. Everyone saying it uses lots of resources is lying.
>>51263913
it's quite shit when seeding 1000+ torrents
>>51261033
QBittorrent.
Used to use Deluge which worked well, but after about 3 months of using it, it just died and every torrent would be stuck at 0%.

so g/ this fucking browser citrio refuses to relinquish it's associations over magnet & torrent associations, also pdf & a few others, no matter what I do.
I would like to keep the browser installed if I can, as it has nice media grabber faculties built in.
I already tried deleting system 32 & doing a barrell roll, & it didn't work. I also tried putting a pan down there. Anyone know how to stop it from keking all the associations?
>>51264323
that should say c u c k i n g all the associations, the fucking site changed it.
Can anyone recommend a torrent seedbox linux distro image, if such a thing exists? All I need it to do is download and seed, as a VM.
