I have 2x 4gb of RAM inserted, by my PC is only installing 4gb.
PC has a 64 bit processor and operating system (Windows 8 Pro), Pentium Dual-Core CPU 2.94GHz and the motherboard (http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/P5G41TM_LX/specifications/) should take the full 8gb.
I have updated the BIOS from here (http://support.asus.com/Download.aspx?SLanguage=en&m=P5G41T-M+LX&p=1&s=22). I have tested both sticks individually in both slots and they all work fine on their own.
What am I missing?

wrong slots i bet

Check if your memory is multi-slot supported in the 2 DIMM lists.
>>51260110
I have the ones in the OP pic and that vendor isn't listed anywhere.
>>51260055
Well I isolated both sticks individually in both slots always it had 4gb installed

Neck beards like you ruin this board
Check your procesor compatibility , if not is that, check one for one the ram slots and run a mamcheck with cmd
Won't let me open the link. Make sure windows is 64 bit and processor is supported. Make sure that you are using the appropriate dimm slots. Typically 1 and 2 are not used together. Occupy the 1 and 3 slots for proper dual channel use. Post POST results pls thx
