What do you think of Ben Carson?
The screen looks amazing. This is the first time I own an amoled phone and the blacks look so nice. Colors look great too, saturated but still natural. It has a bit of a cold feel to it but it's so minor it doesn't make a difference.
I have no complaints with WiFi either. That was my biggest fear buying this phone but nothing has happened yet so I wouldn't be able to comment on it.
I came from a nexus 5 and in comparison this is a million times better, especially the camera and build quality.
Right now I'd give this phone 8.5/10 the price is so good and what you get for the money is out of this world. Nfc not being included is a bummer but I never used it heavily anyway.

Yeah, that's correct. The OnePlus X supports GSM. Verizon operates with CDMA, and NOT GSM. The only american carriers that have GSM are T-Mobile and AT&T. Sprint and Verizon customers who want to make the switch will have to also switch carriers.

Not him, but no. Sometimes that can be indicitave of a bigger problem with the display, such as uneven backlighting or poor color calibration but seeing as how the phone is AMOLED, it's not a backlighting issue.
The best way to judge a phones quality is to get one in your hands. Videos and pictures can never convey as much detail as actually holding and using the phone can.
I've never had anything similar to a Samsung device. Like I mentioned the camera for the price seems very solid, I can't really test it properly because I'm in a very badly lit room and can't take pictures for shit. Battery life seems good too, I've only had it for a day but the amoled really helps preserve battery life. Can't say for sure need more time to test it. And no there is absolutely no difference between a pitch black image and the screen being off. It's amoled alright.
