>>
>>51245557
the fact that AMD makes absolutely pukeworthy CPU is actually undeniable. Let's wait for zen, hoping for the best. A monopoly is never a good thing, especially considering the number of hardware backdoors waiting for every intel user. The ideal variant would be AMD rising and giving out the specs for its CPUs and mobos so libreboot/coreboot could easily work on them. Probably, it's never gonna happen, but a man can dream.

If only the logo was in a close to a square proportion, we could have a great art on a great distro.

I meant the default font for the distro/DE, not the console.

It's because openSUSE has their whole design guidelines well estabilished; enough for me to be curious if they use one of their fonts for the DE.

I'm really not sure what you're saying. I'm suggesting that, instead of using a VM, you make a partition on your hard drive and dual boot.

I don't know where the "SUSE is hard to install" thing comes from; I've literally never had a problem that wasn't entirely of my own making. It's graphical and everything. If you partition the drive first, let it do everything automatically, and use the KDE desktop, I don't think anything will go wrong.

not him but cbpp is pretty much the same as the old cb.

so far i've found one difference, i don't know if it's a xorg or openbox problem but after a few days of uptime it just slows down really hard and i have to reboot. i dont have this problem on my desktop

Don't use crunchbang, it's like 3 years out of date and looks/runs like shit. Get debian or ubuntu.

I get so little feedback from crunchbang users it's frustrating. It seems like a great distro, but not many people talk about it.

>>51254089
I'm not changing to it, I absolutely love openSUSE. I just wanted honest feedback.

>I get so little feedback from crunchbang users it's frustrating
because it's a distro for people who don't know how to use linux

t. crunchbang user

That's because the origional #! is depricated, #!++ is not the same man, it's just not the same..
>>
>>51254003
im the op of your question, I am using it because I wanted a easy lightweight distro so i can practice terminal on. I have only had good experiences except a few install errors, also you cant use chromium on Crunchbang.

I have #! on a pentium 2 laptop somewhere. It's bretty good. Worked out of the box and had a handy-dandy list of hotkeys right there on the desktop.

kek. this shit was too easy and i didn't learn anything.
i'm thinking about reverthing to Windows , deleting the linux partitions and fixing the master boot records.
Maybe install Arch on a VM before I fuck shit up?

Not him, but why aren't they next to each other? What is that pointless static doubling the area?
>>
>>51256317
they aren't leveled. The are below the higher screen is where the laptop sits. That screen is used with either my desktop (when coding) or the laptop (when photo editing)
>>
>>51256317
also, the static area is there by default from the screenfetch screenshot
