I set mine to 50 50, much faster fade/out in, which I prefer over nothing since the HTML5 video full screen transition has always been rather clunky on my end.

I just disabled the stupid transition in about:config.
search for 'transition' and change enter and leave from 200 200 to 0 0.
The mute tab is something Chrome already had for like a year iirc.
