You can't do it with an arcade-type CRT. It's using a storage CRT, which uses black magic to 'hold' the image on the screen. It's more like an etch-a-sketch than a normal CRT, hence why you can watch the beam 'write' to the display (and also why they can do high-resolution vector graphics in the early 1970s).

Tektronix had all kinds of insane technology back in the day; hell I have an oscilloscope with 'digital' readout that's implemented as a series of vector images stored in a character ROM addressed with multi-level (*10* levels, if I remember right) current-mode logic.

Yeah, sadly, Unions aren't these magical, solve-everything feel-good groups of employee empowerers. 98% of unions are politically motivated assholes, doing asshole things to get more money and power. If you ever want to run a good scam, start up a local arm of some union that isn't in your nearby small town, get some guys, have them pay dues, etc. then skip town 10 months later with all the money right after you did a pledge drive to earn some money for you to go to a "Union Workshop".

No matter where you live or your type of house or the size of your room,

Any computer pulling anything more than 100w for an hour will noticeably warm a room that has no airflow.
Crack a window (if it isn't blazing hot outside), open the door, or turn on AC. Letting the air stagnate and cycle through the PC just lets it get hotter.
