I disagree. Sony's tech is superior. Samsung now have improved and are more affordable, Sony are still a better brand.
Sony are expensive but you know their products are good, especially audio related.

agreed. though i think they are lacking in the photography department (cant blame em when their up against Nikon and Cannon) their audio equipment is top notch and also reasonably priced without the glamour marketing bullshit involved.

Yes, but the point is effort towards their phones.
Samsung makes everything for their phone, the screens, OS features, SoC, everything.
Sony phones are just cookie cutter Snapdragon phones that could be found on a $250 Chinese phone, using shitty Dragontrail glass, Sharp LCDs and to be honest not very premium build (the flaps don't align with the rest of the phone's design). The Xperia series is very un-Sony.
