My main HDD used to have 40 GB memory remaining. After Windows 10 updated today I now have 52 GB of memory.
What does it mean?
It means Win10 takes up less space than your previous OS, I'm guessing.

it means windows sent 12gb of your files back to microsoft so they can forward them to advertisers and the NSA
