Alright, I was just thinking about it because today I was bitching about how water and electricity are free (or rather included in housing), but laundry isn't. And I got to thinking about ways I could profit off the free things I have.
You know, this reminds me of an idea I had a while back.
My girlfriend and I were camping, and I noticed that an electric campsite is offered at a fixed rate, and you aren't charged for electricity. I figured that, since Bitcoin was compute-intensive but not particularly bandwidth-intensive, I could tether a big, fat computer to a cell phone and mine Bitcoin on the park department's dime.
Upon looking into it, there was no reason why it wouldn't work. Do with this information what you will.
