Is there any point in buying a flagship phone instead of mid-tier? Which mid-tier phone is the best?

Nexus 5x
Best mid tier
Get a HTC desire 626s. I have it and it's an amazing mid-tier phone. Looks just like the m9 without the metal back.

Not really. Phone performance is basically the same, there's very little difference between a good midrange and a flagship these days.
Get a note 3 or something instead. Don't get anything without 16gb of space, 2gb of ram, and a SD800 processor. Coming from a Moto X 2013 and a Moto E 2015, my note 3 is worlds more fluid. Ram keeps things from closing. On the Moto E with 1gb of ram, I'd run Maps, play music, and one of those would crash after 5 minutes. Moto X was better, but the Note 3 is still just faster and programs aren't cleared from ram as fast.
