Why the fuck is Vivaldi's boot time so fucking slow?
Seriously. I just counted, and it took over fifty seconds for it to load.
Should've bought into the SSD meme
Just delete it. Since it's closed source, you can't fix it yourself anyway.

I have an ssd though.
That's why I'm so surprised.
And I'm on Arch. Admittedly I'm not using the official vivaldi build for arch but still.

Honestly I'm tempted. Vivaldi has some amazing features that I really wish other browsers had, but it's so fucking broken beyond belief that I'm very close to just moving back to Pale Moon.

I just tested it on my Windows machine (i5 3230m, 850 Evo SSD)
Started up in under 10 seconds
But it was slower than chrome or firefox

pls don't be jelly :^)
also, nice trips
Win 7 840 evo
It opens in like 0,3s
I'm using the latest snapshot

oh yea, did I mention it's Windows 10?
Takes less than one second from my SSD.

You're full of shit
Doubt it'd open in 0.3 seconds for a cold start, doubtful even for a warm start unless it's literally running processes in the background like Chrome does.
Only browser that's close to that time is IE on Win 8 and upwards, or Edge. I'm talking about a cold start here of course.

0,3-0,5-0,8 whatfuckinever, I just click it and it starts almost instantly
Because literally zero memory.

You still didn't answer if it's a cold or warm start, but I guess you don't know the difference, so i'm not gonna bother.
