Con: only video game I find fun is gta 5, and even that's starting to get boring

Nice and cool, even overclocked
Generous anime figure capacity

Cons:
Not X99
No room for future upgrades
The fuck do I do with all this RAM?

I hate doing rates out of ten, so I'll just tell you what I think

bit of a weird combination visually, not sure what you were trying to achieve. Otherwise nice, I like the case and cpu cooler especially.

>>50780886
love it, it's almost a perfect in terms of looks. Why not a white cpu cooler like a cryorig h5, though? Also what are you doing for front intake?

>>50783569
I don't understand your air flow arrangement or choice of colours. Personally I'd paint the fan rings yellow and set the corsair logo yellow. And put that rad on the exhaust instead.

Guts 9-20-15.jpg
2 MB, 3000x2494
Pros: - Tiny
- Runs cool despite size b/c AP181 fan
- Preforms well for anything I throw at it
- Looks like a piece of nice stereo equipment rather than ricer-l33t-gaymer shit.
Cons: - Absolute pain in the ass to manage cables, took me 3 complete disassemblies to get it this efficient (although that's partially due to this being my first PC build & inexperience).
- Bought a too-big PSU initially, bought a still-big-but-fits PSU the second time.
- Not friendly to taking apart and making adjustments (nothing is toolless), had to buy thumbscrews for the back just to make getting inside easier.

I love this case but it's been very time consuming... welcome to PC building, I guess.

>put it as the exhaust instead
The rad is just too big to be mounted right at the back. It's got a pci grille in the way. I get better temps at the front anyways, and its not like it heats up my card where it is. I'm not sure whats wrong with my airflow though, I went for positive, so the back fan stays off and the top run very low. As for painting the fans yellow, I'd then have to paint the HDD mounts aswell. Plus, I know I'd only end up butchering the job. I like it how it is, but I appreciate hearing what you think. Which guts are yours?

>>50780472
>Needs more PSU.
Didn't get a chance to reply in the Specy thread. If your getting blue screens and you can narrow it down to a power issue (so not something like drivers) then either the power supply is faulty or the power regulation on the motherboard. The power supply would be the cheapest to replace so test with that first, but don't feel that you need to get an 800w+.

I would recommend a Phanteks over almost every other brand. It offers so much flexibility for how much it costs. The Pro M is a really good case that gives you just enough of what you need, I'd actually recommend it over their regular Enthoo Pro.

But stay away from their ITX case, it's a cheap, oversized, heat-trapping POS not at all worthy of an ITX build.

Something like that was the first thing that came to mind, however I haven't really noticed anyone else with anything similar (although I don't check out the memory in every photo).

Got mine from Scan for a quid each, wasn't expecting such a high polish for that price. They're copper but look more like brass with a gold colour.

My friends, I need your advice. I want to build a gaming pc on a tight budget, but my last machine I built about 7 years ago and been using laptops ever since. They suck and I need a desktop.
So I have 500$ and no knowledge of parts compatibility. What I got so far:
GPU: Sapphire AMD R7 260X - 140$(with discount)
M/B: MSI 1150 MSI H81M-E33 - 55$
Power: Corsair Power Supply Vs550 - 50$
RAM: 4GB DDR3 PC3-12800 1600MHz - 2x21$

CPU and frame are yet to be chosen, and everything else I have a.i. HDD, mouse\keys\monitor\wi-fi etc.

What do you say?

Pros:
Humongous case for tons of airflow
Runs cold as ice (temps in Speccy are under load)
Handles massive amounts of recorded and synthesized audio with tons of insert effects without bogging down
Churns through video like a hot knife through butter

Cons:
Corsair fans on the AIO are dogshit awful and loud, need replacing
Would like to switch from these old dual monitors to a single ultra-wide
Only has one open SATA port, which I need to attach a 4 or 6 gb HDD to for media... currently using 4tb of external USB 3 storage, which sort of sucks.

Just don't ever run stress tests lol

[email protected] consumes 400~450w running prime small fft

980 ti consumes 400w+ running occt

Pic somewhat related, except the cpu is only running linpack since that's the occt default test so it's consuming 150w~ less.

Gaming power is much more reasonable at 450w, although that'll probably change with dx12.

The aida64 cpu test is kinda worthless and doesn't generate much heat, the fpu test on the other hand is insane and is even more stressful than prime.

I'm just giving you a small heads up on what your components are capable of consuming because I happen to have the same. Those evga 1200w gold units often goes on sale for like $90 so it's something to think about next time you see it.

>>50811823
Really? Your case fan cable is draped across your GPU. Your SATA cable still has the recycling sticker on it. It looks like you used a 6+8 pin for your motherboard power for some reason and the 6 pin is just hanging there.
>>
>>50811833
I wish i lived with those prices, the 1000W G2 runs close to $220 here and it is one of the ones that gives you most bang for the buck still. Fucking Yuroop.
>>
>>50811866
If you are refering the the 4 pin that is just hanging there, thats for the cpu, the mobo has slots for 8 pin concectors there, but i just stuck a 4pin in and it works... and the other one doesnt fit

>>
>>50812059
lel. You should.
>>
>>50812059
The 8 pin connector will allow your motherboard to draw more power without catching shit on fire, so yeah you should probably plug it in. If it doesn't fit then it's not the right connector, you're probably trying to jam a PCIE power cable into it (should be labelled either EPS or CPU).
