Seems like a solid second.
I'd use Kaspersky if it didn't cause BSODs and symptoms of imminent HDD failure.

KIS or EIS/nod32 tend to be the most recommended paid security. Qihoo360 good for free.
Seriously, why?
isn't enough the ability to tell the difference between a 7mb mp3 with a 300kb exe?
Gentoo
Kaspersky >*
it finds all viruses... from governments, police, etc... it finds it all. the only one on the market.
eset nod32
light and not in the way, least false positives
full version is free for 30 days to test it
All AV is dangerous snakeoil, don't fall for the marketing.
Does nod32 not have the free version anymore?

If you're willing to pay then ESET NOD32, if you want free then go with BitDefender.
Another free alternative is Avast but it will fuck your OS with ads/pop-ups to buy it.

ESET gui is simply amazing.
pirated nod32, faggot
I gave up on Defender after Microsoft themselves announced Defender couldn't keep up with other AV programs. Nowadays I use Bitdefender which works fine but kept nagging me until I got an online account so now some Russian script kiddie can remotely control my computer. After it expires I'll switch to Kaspersky or Trend Micro because they do well in tests and have reputable in-house labs.

Kaspersky and BitDefender. Absolute best ones.
i use pirated avast
works fine for me
anyone who says common sense, off yourself
AVG is free on new egg right now, is it any good? I currently use avast! Free, is it worth the switch? Enlighten me /g/. I don't get viruses but my family members do, would this protect them better?
