looks like the seek bar is transparent now.

No, but actually watching them in 60fps on my computer is.
And I know this for certain because I happened to rewatch a video I saw before and noticed it was running in 60fps yesterday when it had the transparent seeker bar, and now that it's back to the old player, it's just 30fps again.
