What browser does /g/ use? I've been sticking with Chrome recently, it feels smooth and modern, but hogs the CPU.

Just plain ol' firefox with some minimal addons.
>>
>>47343385
Firefox. Works well. Stable as fuck.
>>
>>47343385
Chromium (the source project for Chrome) with extensions Adblock, Vimium, and Ghostery

>adblock and ghostery are botnets

So what? They make browsing faster because I don't have to wait for ads to load or tracking shit.

>vimium

I code in vim a lot so being able to browse with the keyboard with a lot of familiar shortcuts is nice. Firefox has an extension like it called vimperator I believe. I still use FF for Java and Flash apps because Chromium does not support their embedding anymore.

Did anyone try Maxthon?
>>
>>47343447
use ublock instead of adblock for no botnet
>>
>>47343385
Three or four generally.
Firefox (and Icecat) with vimperator
w3m
Midori

The only real browser is links

I stick with Firefox because addons can modify the UI and it uses less RAM when you have dozens of tabs open (because it suspends inactive tabs).
>>
>>47343554
what about lynx ?
>>
>>47343649
links has more features and language support.
But ofcorse they are just meme browsers

Pale Moon. It's Firefox without Australis and useless features like parental controls. So basically, it's Firefox 4's interface merged with all the fixes and modern Web standards found in the latest FF. PM demands much less memory.

I haven't implied that they are.
I've outright stated it.

I used to use chrome and it ran perfectly fine but I just switched to firefox this week even though it's buggy as shit and would crash my processor all the fucking time.I managed to fix the bugs by looking up shit online, but it's still retarded that I'd have to deal with this shit right out of the box in the first place when chrome ran flawlessly, but whatever, now I have freedom and no botnet.
