Anyone else using inbox by gmail?
How is it so far?
And if anyone can send invites? Been waiting for Google to send me one forever.
If you can invite hook me up please!

Sent ;)
no joke
>>47339522
It's alright. I'd prefer it over the GMail app.
>>47339543
sent ;^)
it's shit.
Why do people try to change the age old model of folders and a decent search function?
I don't want to click through multiple folders in order to capture everything. I just want to check my email once per day and go through a single list and clear it out.
I may be living under a rock but what is Inbox by Gmail?
Thanks for the invite! Looks pretty good so far.
anyone find it slower than gmail
>>47339522
It is a mess.
I'm all for change, but this isn't it. Inbox is just a way to show that google is trying to be hip, with that IOS colour shit, and odd orginisation method that is just uneccessarly more complicated than any other mail service
Been using it since about 2 days after they started accepting invite requests.
Never looked back, its so much better.
i hate it
i have 3 invites so if anyone wants em reply to me

Erase all the spaces.

:)
>>47341301
ok sent
Can anyone explain what it's all about? I tried looking at their page but saw nothing but the usual hype blocky text with scroll-down animations and one-word catchphrases crap that's apparently the web 3.0 standard
I have 10 invites. Roll dubs, 25, or 50 for an invite.
>>47341325
Forgot to mention: Your roll must be a direct reply to this post.
Yes, I recently got an invite to botnet by skynet. It filters through my emails and steals my freedom. Pretty good.
>>47341318
its an email service that groups similar things together, you can mark things as done, make reminders, etc.
Got a lot of invites. Reply your email and I'll send one your way.
>>47341325
Yeeee... Na.

Check.em
>>47341396
is that your actual email? im not him but i can send you one. you'll have to forward it to gmail after
>>47341359
Pony. Disregard post.
>>47341006
>Microsoft Outlook colour shit
fixed that for you
I have 3 invites, I'll invite the first people who request them.
[email protected]
Don't wanna waste invites on other emails posted who may have gotten invites, so shoot an email to the disposable if you want one.
>>47341480
wow I lied, I have 10 invites.
I like cause it keeps my mail clean and I can organize fast. My freedom was taken at birth anyway
I just use thunderbird for mails
webmail interfaces are kinda eh
>>47340178
>this
I just don't get why people bother with this. Unless you get 500 mails per hour you just check what's on your inbox and kill shit you don't need.
>>47341511
gonna let this temp expire in 10mins since nobody hit me up yet.
It's a little convoluted and I'm still getting used to it. When I need to really go through my mail I use gmail app.
It works well with the Google now cards.
Its actually simpler than gmail, anybody complaining has baby duck syndrome
>>47341759
No it's not. It adds shit on top of gmail.
Sorry, I use a platform which respects my freedoms and protects my privacy.
https://tutanota.com/
They even offer "business" hosting to handle MX services for your own domains.
>>47341659
added 10 more mins. Whoever just hit me up, I sent you the invite

thanks
Anybody mind dropping me an invite?
[email protected]
I appreciate it! :)
>>47342106
That would implying that I'm not syncing my mail from their servers locally and backing it up offsite. Do you think me unprepared?
I'll post a few invite codes here, not sure if the first will work since it was made a few months ago, but I should have 10 more.Z21haWxpbnZpdGU#AAjWDC1cC21L8fbe9jr2k4Kkin_KxUtFmpUnSpjxri5PmNUDo4MAzea7CEDFcFdBbg7fp-828_KrYf_5lML1soM3Zu0hX7HNA5VHRrutIKIdoKbTz2eEEsGztn3ar2hIhvpF1svlQ2Oe#ZXRpdm5pbGlhbWc
>>47339522
Inbox categorizes your emails. Its stupid. Just use on device proprietary email application instead.
Windows 8 -> Windows Live Mail 2012
Mac -> Mail app
>>47342308
Really doubt that one will work, now that I think about it. This one's brand new though.
Honestly have no idea how to even use these.Z21haWxpbnZpdGU#AAjWDC2A5dZRaL4zLGNzkMvwRZEVCrZ7-9hrs-ow647CRQ18ETzsNvu8kAqu_TkvA-bxsIj7Q-UjEZ6_quHUySrgnCq2acTwzcPvmfn3HB61op-ia35vjnE#ZXRpdm5pbGlhbWc

>>47342388
Doesn't work that way. Invite an account.
[email protected]
>>47342397
Why would they give me these codes if they didn't do anything?
>If you don’t want this invitation, pass it on to a friend by forwarding this email.
>>47342415
Exactly. Forward it. Gmail read whether you have an email containing the code and then lets you access inbox. I can't put the code anywhere.
>>47342426
that's stupid as fuck, but sent

Using it on android and the desktop. The interface looks a lot nicer than gmail. It makes is easy to ignore junk I don't really need to read.

ITT: botnet shills
I've been using the Android app for a few months.
Honestly I don't use the features available, so I may as well just use regular Gmail.
>>47342656
You don't probably use all the features of GMail either, might as well just get a Mac.
Next 9 emails get an invite.

is [email protected] not accepting e-mail invites anymore? That's how I got mine - I emailed them and said I wanted to try it.
Havent even looked at it, dont feel gmail is lacking in anything

>hurr durr i cant into custom skins
That image is from the website, there're multiple skins available and if you want you can make your own custom skin. Now tell me again how is Botnet™ Inbox® web service better than my offline widget.

>letting google know your life history so they can sell it to the highest bidder and the NSA
If you're using anything Google, you're a fucking idiot.
If you're not blocking Google, you're a fool.
>>47342827
Please leave stallman-san.
>>47342838
Listen to him guys, he's a fine man.
>>47342827
>he doesn't have a 'professional' account which is fully understood to be compromised by the NSA
I signed up all the email addresses in this thread to the NAMBLA emailing list.
>>47342827
I agree, but I have this gmail e-mail because, while knowing it's being spied on, it's safer, more reliable and easier than, let's say, protonmail or cock.li, which I use for personal/private mails.
You just know that gmail will be supported wherever you go, and you don't need to spell your fucking e-mail every time you need someone to know it. Also, if gmail has any problem, it won't affect just me, but literally everyone I have professional ties with, so not my problem.
>>47342953
>not using your isp email or email from your own domain name
Come on man.
Seriously, Google is garbage.
>>47342979
My last name has 12 letters and is yuropean, so it's a no go, unless I want to spend an hour spelling it and people will still have problems with it.
And I dislike google spying practices as well, but if you ever had a job in your life you will know that refusing to use google is just like refusing to use a QWERTY keyboard because it's inferior to Dvorak and you refuse to use it.
You could do everything it does with an old client, but this just makes it more streamlined. It's fine.
>>47342953
Or maybe you could just get a VPS mail server for like $3 a month.
Meh I used it for a whole day. Sure, the interface was "pretty" but the lack of customization was stupid. Only one vibrate when you get an email, not even the system standard two vibrates? Wow. No thanks
>>47342979
not using google apps for business with your own domain. Best of both worlds... gmails backend is actually great, 4 years, 99.999998% uptime for us.
also allows activesync which is bretty gud
>>47343010
>you need google to have a job
Holy shit, this is retarded.
Are you a paid Google shill? Because I think you're a paid Google shill.
>>47343131
Outlook, Gmail and the occasional self-domain are basically the only ones people use nowadays, kiddo. Maybe you should leave your mom's basement.
>>47343131
Le epic fallacies. This isn't what I said at all.
>>47343053
>piggybacking on google for essential services
This is as retarded as people using AWS for anything. Are you goddamn retarded?
Seriously, this has to be some massive Google shilling. Get over it, Google, you're an evil shit company now and people with any common sense won't touch any of your garbage if they can help it.
>>47343170
>but if you ever had a job in your life you will know that refusing to use google is just like refusing to use a QWERTY keyboard because it's inferior to Dvorak and you refuse to use it
I can't parse anything else out of this, you goddamn troll.
Done here, reporting your shit. Fuck off, Google, you're dead and you know it.
>>47343151
Sorry, kid, I'm old enough to be your father. Perhaps when you grow up you will gain some common sense.
Oh wait, you are grown, you're just a paid Google shill.
Lol, had this one coming, didn't I?

>>47341022
Hi there!
You seem to have made a bit of a mistake in your post. Luckily, the users of 4chan are always willing to help you clear this problem right up! You appear to have used a tripcode when posting, but your identity has nothing at all to do with the conversation! Whoops! You should always remember to stop using your tripcode when the thread it was used for is gone, unless another one is started! Posting with a tripcode when it isn't necessary is poor form. You should always try to post anonymously, unless your identity is absolutely vital to the post that you're making!
Now, there's no need to thank me - I'm just doing my bit to help you get used to the anonymous image-board culture!
