It was a Kraken X60 AIO, and I originally mounted it by taking the intel bracket, drilling it, and using 4 bolts and very steady hand tightening to mount the cooler to the card. Now I use an MKCool that some dude made as a bracket for AIO's and GPU's.

Yeah, I thought about that too, but I'm going with an elevating desk for my new apartment.
I just need a piece of wood for the main surface, and another for the monitor shelf.
It's going to take a bit of work, though, also because I need to think of a way to make some spacers for the shelf at work.
The only raw material available is aluminium, which is great, but the dimensions aren't as big as I'd like.
So I'll probably have to get the shelf part cut in three pieces because the middle piece has to have more space between the desk and the bottom of the shelf.
That's where I'll be putting the amp+pre-amp for my speakers+headphones.
At least my little coffee table is progressing nicely.
It just needs a piece of wood on top and it'll be done.
It weighs a damn ton, mainly due to the 300mm bearing acting as base.

The long spline axle costs about the same, I can't remember the exact figures. Not that it matters. But it's kinda neat.

The bearing is worn out, and it doesn't really turn all that well - but it does turn if it just gets a little force.
I'm a machinist's apprentice, and when it's not busy in my department at work, I've got a little time to make some small things.
Our equipment isn't that advanced, but we've got an old 3-axis mill which accepts NC code, so it's technically a CNC mill, it just can't do tool changes on its own.

Since I'm an apprentice, I have to go to school for 10 weeks throughout my apprenticeship (the rest of the time I'm at the workshop).
At school we're being taught some more advanced manufacturing techniques and some theoretical stuff. CAM, robots, etc.

Pretty basic. I don't have anything heavy enough to properly test it with, though. I can lift myself, so at least it works.

I got my led lighting from eBay. Some chink strip, 5m for £16 and it works just fine, it has presets and basic RGB control.
You can cut it into lengths that you want. I used some of those no more nails sticky pads and stuck it onto the back of my desk.
