pencils are technology

do you use 0.5mm or 0.7mm lead?

>0.5mm
clean, precise lines, but higher risk of breaking. incompatible with the more common 0.7mm devices

>0.7mm
sturdier than 0.5mm, but at the expense of bloat

>0.9mm
full on retarded. if you use 0.9mm then you don't know SHIT about technology

>.5 for presentation
>.9 for drawing.

I use pic related. Got two of these niggers and they've lasted me through almost 4 years now. Thinking about getting something a little better looking for my main everyday pencil though.

I've taken a liking to 6H lead for some reason recently.

Uni Kuru Toga is god tier.
0.5mm lead for thin lines and less prone to have lead break than 0.7mm pencils.

You forgot to mention that kind of lead can also write upside down. You could call it "space pencil" if you were so inclined.

0.5 because it's the standard in my country
I use normal pencils and pens most of the time though, mechanicals are for exams and when I cba to sharpen regular pencils

>Using only one type of pencil
What are you, poor?

Not pictured: my 0.5mm pencil, it's out picking up bitches for me.
>>
I have both, more .5mm. I rarely handwrite anything any more and couldn't even tell you what I last wrote with by hand. Usually it's something that I found on the floor just before the class where I knew I would need one because I didn't have anything in my bag. I've ended up with a pretty large collection that I've been giving away, especially when a professor does not have enough #2 pencils for a scantron test.
>>
I find that .9 mm doesn't have adequate stopping power
>>
For writing? 0.5
For drawing? 0.3, 0.5, 0.7, and 0.9
>>
>>47069206
Awwwwwe yeeeee I love those.
>>
Anything less than .7 breaks when you touch the pencil to the page.
>>
>>47069113
0.5mm
>>
0.7 because I've got tons of it. Also 0.5 is too sharp. The lines don't feel substantial enough.

tanked trough high school and 4 semesters of physics , luckily i found that they sell replacement erasers and i have gutted it more than 4 times trough it's life and even bought a new spring for it , thinking of buying a rotring 800 and using this one as a coloured one

Mechanical pencils aren't a gimmick though. They really are better. The only time a traditional pencil can even compete is when drawing, and even then, I prefer the continence of a mechanical pencil.
>>
what is a nice super small tip metallic pen , lamy has very nice nes but they are still verythick when it comes to actual writing , i know there is a pen somewhere that caters to my autistic needs
