I want to completely eradicate vi/vim from my linux systems and replace it with nano, even by calling vi it should actually run nano.
How do I do it? I know it can be done but I'm not sure how.
Also google is showing me how to search and replace text in nano instead of finding relevant results on what I want
I can't uninstall VLC in Debian.
‘apt-get remove vlc’ shows “The following packages will be REMOVED:” and lists 235 MB worth of packages. Ark, kate, dolphin and their mothers among them.
I’m using Debian Jessie and KDE.
Here’s the output. Any ideas?

It's not a problem with apt-get. Aptitude and apper (GUI) give the same problem.
If you could point me in the right direction it would be grand.

Remove vim and make an alias for nano (called 'vim'). Couldn't that work?

Download the office suite on the play store
Trying to install Media Player Classic, and apparently it's recommended that I first uninstall all codec packs. How do I do that?
