Based html5, hyped for those 360 degree skydiving videos
>>
Doesn't work for me on Android. I tried it with Firefox and Chromium.
>>
>>47002010
Is there a reason you're not using the youtube app? You also need at least Android 4.1.

It might expand to other browsers, but for now you're out of luck.

Noice.
But i can't really see it being any useful. Excluding media made for VR devices or tech demos.

pls fix

Well, it works on my PC with Chromium.

And you said VR was a stupid gimmick.
>>
>>47001677
What's so good about this?

Why does it need to be 'supported'?
It's just a video. Shot in a weird way but it's still just pixels.
>>
>>47003565
how would 3d 360 recording even work? one lens would get in the way of the other

Windows 8 with AMD card... this shouldn't be an issue
>>
>>47003629
It's a gimballed high-FPS camera that spins really fucking fast.

Just kidding, I have no idea.

It's probably just a few cameras with wide angle lenses.
>>
>>47003800
Two actually

Two 180 degree cameras
>>
>>47003800
Yeah, it's something like that what I was saying is that they're not 3d as far as I know, I can't imagine how one would work for 3rd since you'd need 2 lenses capable of capturing that 360º field but each would get on the way of the other
>>
>>47003800
This. At one point in the couch video, when the couch starts fleeing from the police car, you can clearly see the line between lenses.

>chrome only
Fucking Google, they always do this. It's all very impressive, but unless they get it working cross-browser it's just another gimmick. Things like this doesn't drive Chrome's market share up. Developers who use multiple browsers anyway get interested for 5 minutes and everyone else goes 'meh' as they've seen it all before. Hell, quicktime had this shit ten years ago.

Alll the vids look like this for me.
>>
I came.
>>
>>47003878
It needs to be integrated. Firefox implemented 60fps and they'll get to work on this. It's obvious that Google would be messing with Chrome with their experiments since it's their own browser.
>>
I want to see new generation of ads on those.
>>
>>47001677
just get me a vr headset, 3d + 360 so i can actually look around in the video
>>
>>47001854

>4K
>60fps
>livestream

They need to set those cameras fucking everywhere. At sports games, conferences and conventions. I just tested it out on an old Android tablet and it worked beautifully. The future is now.

now we wait for 360 degree porn

When do you think the first Netflix TV show to utilise this will be?

Will it ever be used to make a TV show?
>>
>>47004163
>360 degrees 4k 60FPS live teledildonics

YES.
>>
>>47004254
It's kind of hard to use effectively on PC but it's great on phone and tablet. I'm sure Gear VR and other VR headsets would work extremely well with this.
>>
>>47004254
Probably, if it becomes really popular on YT someone will try to make a show with this.
>captcha "source"

As a normal fag, I have a boner.

Pretty neat on Android's YT app. Hopefully this is open source so it can be utilized on porn sites.

fuck
my computer can barely handle that video in 720p
