Man, I can't tell you how long it took me to get to this point. You'll get there though. Honestly, the equipment keeps the workflow interesting and colors the sound, but you aren't missing anything in terms of ability. There's always the thing in the back of your head telling you to get more to be better, but there's diminishing returns. If you're into boom bap try for a cheap MPC2000XL and you should be set for a long while. It's good enough for Pete Rock, Evidence, Kev Brown, blah blah. Keep going and you'll find the money to expand.

They're all different and for different purposes. The portrait monitor is for reading articles and porn comics, the horizontal one is for general use & modern gayman, but it's QHD which means I'd want to use the lcd tv for 1080p movies and its higher contrast ratio, but mostly the tv is just where I have my media player. The two CRT's are for old pc games on the monitor and old shows/emulated console games on the tv, since CRT's just straight up display low-def content in a really pleasing way whereas LCD panels really don't.
It's kind of absurd, but that's why I said it's kind of fucking stupid.
