Switch Gentoo and Debian.
>>
>>46787032
Literally any distribution that can be installed minimally. Try Gentoo and give yourself something to do this weekend.

i've had consensual sex with a woman and i use gentoo

But that would make the chart wrong.

but i dont want to configure every goddamn shit and i want file manager with good vcs support.i think i should say fuck off to openbox and go with fedora
>>
>>46787094
Yeah, just do that. If you have more than 1GB RAM you don't really need what Openbox does.

>hurr how do install softwares
>>
>>46787258
Fedora uses NetworkManager as the sole network management tool and is absolutely horrible to use with the command line. Unless one is able to install Fedora in the same manner as Gentoo and install wpa_supplicant (I haven't found any documentation for this) you are better off minimally installing a different distro.
>>
>>46787297
Gentoo is infinitely better than Ubuntu and Mageia, not as good as Slackware, and about as good as Fedora and openSUSE. It was in the right place before.
>>
>>46787324
And are a smelly neckbeard.
>>
>>46787372
what is your suggestion me man. right now i think fedora with i3 would be best for me. but i dont know if its a good idea to use tiling stuff with small screen
>>
>>46787422
i3 can be used in stacking and tabbed mode and is not bad. Of course it's not going to beat a desktop environment with a compositing window manager, but it's fun to use in public. It's going to be a bitch to minimally install Fedora though.
>>
>>46787422
>i dont know if its a good idea to use tiling stuff with small screen
The benefit of tiling wms over non-tiling ones is much more dramatic on small screens. I'm not sure why you'd think it isn't a good idea.
>>
>>46787378
what about debian tint conky openbox and something other than thunar my question is can i use another file manager with openbox
>>
>>46786734
Good, I now officially pronounce them to be complete bullshit.

Or you know just do this.

>>46787722
Gentoo I guess. God-tier distros generally are meant to be used as full desktops and tend to be tricky to get minimal since minimalism is a neckbeard concept.
