I've been trying to improve my setup visibly since my actual computer is fine. I think the lamp adds a bit of maturity to the high school tier desk. I'm currently saving up for a better desk, but it'll be a few months before I can afford one. Also, the keyboard doesn't really mesh well with the rest of my stuff, I may get something better. I'll check /MKG/ to see what kinds of keyboards I should look at and maybe get a sampler.

They're both Dell U2414H's. I got them for $250 a piece, but I think they typically run for $300. I definitely reccommend them; they have great color reproduction, the bezels are perfect for multi-monitor setups, & the pixel response-time is good enough for gaming if you're into that.
They're my ideal 1080p monitor, but I do have one complaint: the goddamn touch sensitive buttons are downright terrible. Though that's being nitpicky since you barely use them.
If you end up buying one, shop around & you'll find them much cheaper. Like I said, I got mine for $250 a piece since I looked around.

What's the consensus on buying used audio equipment like speakers and amps?
Sounds stupid I know, but I've been thinking for ways to upgrade the sound department here for cheap but would quite like speakers and an amp.
Was just looking around on eBay etc and it seems like this stuff really depreciates so I thought it could be a good way to upgrade on the cheap.

Depends on the type of equipment, in my opinion. I probably wouldn't buy second hand speakers without being able to try them out, since it's easy for the cone to rip. Amp is probably fine. Second hand from a local place like Craigslist would be a little bit safer, because at least you can see it before you buy it.

The case is red but my camera isn't very good. I bought it a long time ago and don't want to spend the money for a new one. I buy all my xbone games digitally and my records are on a shelf on the other side of the room. I agree that the case is ugly and made of shitty glossy plastic but it's big enough to fit all my parts and it would cost me at least $150 to get another one.
