Ok /g/. I download roughly 10-20gb of japanese adult videos every day. It has reached the point where my 3tb and 2tb drive are completely filled up. This is forcing me to delete older videos to allow me to download newer ones, which kills me a little bit inside.
I have 2 more 3tb drives, but I don't have extra room in my case because my graphics card is so huge that I have to remove the HDD cage (fractal r4) to fit it inside.
I figure I should just purchase a hotswappable HDD bay so I can organize my files without having to replacing the cabling in my drives every time. This would also allow me to keep the drives off and prevent wearing and heating issues to prolong the life of my drives.
Do you guys have any recommendations for a decently priced drive bay or docking station that holds 3.5" drives?

Don't fucking do it. I was in the same boat as you, and planned to get a swappable bay and a big expensive pelican case to store the drives. I got 4 drives and started transferring my files, and after I was done for a few days I relized just how inconivent it was to have to get the drive and find what I was looking for, and I really would need a spreadsheet to track it all.
After that I said fuck it and bought a NAS. I was going to build one but with the number of drives I wanted, and how quiet a prebuilt was, and how much smaller it was, I decided to get it.
Now I have every video indexed, searchable, and available from every TV and device in my home. I wouldn't want it any other way.
