>implying freetard desktop clients are as good as uTorrent 2.2.1

Why do you people lie about Deluge, qBittorrent, and Transmission being better when they are clearly not?

How about you fix your shitty torrent clients so they actually perform better than a 3 year old closed source torrent client?

all rTorrent web interfaces are vaporware.

Yes they do. Post a screenshot of your What.cd whitelist.

Kek people still think torrent clients have an effect on download speeds these days
>>
>>45865096
They do. uTorrent 2.2.1 is faster than qBittorrent 3.11.1 on the same connection.
>>
>>45865096
Not download speed for me, but Deluge took like 30 seconds to launch when I used it.

Then again, that was like 3 years ago. Still, I don't see any reason to stop using uT2.2.1

There's a 99% chance that you don't need a what.cd account and that all you need can be found on rutracker.

Yes there is.its called Processor thread or as many referred as Intel vs AMD.Its about bunch of fags that dont know shit about cpu technology and shitpost about how many FPS intel has in Asscreed(a game that runs on 5 year old hardware but not on hardware from 2014) and how AMD isnt doing anything about it and how they only add more cores. There are always few people that know what the fuck they are talking about but they quit after few posts because autism takes over the discussion.

Then your internet connection a shit. If you're running the latest version, it only stalls if there are no peers with pieces you don't have or if it can't connect to any peers. Might be your ISP.

>>45872712

You're missing the point- what about the others? If a vulnerability was discovered today, you would be using a version with a known vulnerability.
Or rather, what about ones that were patched before being discovered? I mean- ones that were patched without a bug report ever being filed.
>>
>>45872864
I would switch when an exploit is discovered.
>>
>>45873051
Yeah, discovered by the good guys you mean.
When discovered by a bad guy, they can literally go to a torrent swarm and grab a list of IP addresses that have clients vulnerable to the exploit they found.
Feel secure yet?
>>
>>45872864
He's right. There was an exploit prior to 2.2.1. I'm not sure when, but there was one.
>>

What gives? With the way pay2pirate fags hype this shit I at least expected it to work.
>>

just use qbt or deluge like a normal person
>>
>>45873148
I'm running Deluge now. Connecting to the daemon on my phone and windows is pretty sweet. It's a shame it's missing a few things from utorrent.
>>
>>45873137
I use rtorrent with rutorrent (through lighttpd), and it's the best client I've tried.

Probably something you're doing wrong, or you were not expecting the right thing. This is great for writing a little config file, running as a daemon, then using it through rutorrent (the best web frontend there is for any client), and enjoying the best performing client that can handle several hundreds or thousands of torrents well.

Using the actual ncurses UI is not nice obviously. You should only be using that if you're a minimalist or only need to torrent something once in a while.

The reason people on private trackers like it is because it's the best performing client, and a lot of them use it on seedboxes, and rutorrent is the best web frontend there is.
>>
wish the icons were better in qbittorrent.
>>
>>45868498
Thanks for literally answering nothing.
Why do you want to keep people out when they can seed just as much or more than you?
With the way P2P works, everyone could benefit.
