You can buy motherboards like these that are smaller, and usually a little cheaper. They have one PCI and are great for small, efficient builds. You clearly did not research enough before building that thing.

I did reseach, I bought a case that could accept 14 inch GPUs and a 550w power supply because I anticipated possibly needing a GPU.
The case is a cooler master N200, it's plenty small enough and still able to accept full sized cards without difficulty.

It's intended to be used in my home theater, hence the empty HD slots which will be filled when needed.
I don't see an advantage to using a smaller case, why have 2 dimms when you can have 4, why have 1 pcie when you can have 2, why have to deal with a cramped case when you can have tons of space, why would you limit yourself in all these aspects?? for the simple reason of having a smaller case? are you kidding me?
