ReqPol doesn't block everything by default, it simply doesn't allow anything by default. There's a difference. I'm not talking about not putting the ad domain on a whitelist, i'm talking about outright putting it on the blacklist.
This is done in a much easier way on ReqPol continued, if you're using the old one that's on FF's addon website, you should upgrade
