Dells up2414q is not bad its 4k. 185 ppi, matte, and factory calibrated. Oled is amazing no doubt considering the blacks and response time.

If vertical space is really all you need, though, why not just do dual 1080p monitors in portrait mode, or stacked on top of each other?
I use my 768p laptop to output 768p to a 27 inch monitor and have absolutely no problems. Everyone might bitch at me for it, but I'm totally fine at this range because all of my shows are at 720p and I don't play videogames anymore. My school work doesn't care about screen ppi either.
