Duh, runescape takes place even before the middle ages

ACDSee version from 2000 I think.
It's fast and does what I want it to do, better than stock win7 photo viewer.
It is good enough for me.

What makes it better than Irfanview?

Well I only use it every couple of months, but akabak is pretty nice.

Latest version only has a 16bit build available
>>
Old as in last modified or first started?
>>
>>45353791
I've been using it for so long that I don't even remember.
>>
Does GNUplot count?
>>
>>45353851
It's just gnuplot not GNUplot. Octave is GNU's plotting program.

I still use MS Office 2003

It's compatible with docx and starts in about a second, with none of the bloat of Libreoffice and never versions of MS Office

MS Word even displays two pages onscreen at once on wide screen monitors, which is impressive considering how uncommon wide screen monitors were in 2003

TL;DR MS Office 2003 masterrace

Easily the best version of Office. Tell me a single feature that newer versions have.

Office365 cloudshit doesn't count.

Fyi, octave tend to use gnuplot for plotting.

Sid Meier's SimGolf

This. And it's still more modern in the latest release than most projects

I'm gonna go with Winamp, too, except that I'm using 5.6.

I tried the old ones, but it turns out that vast strides have been made in MP3 playback; it sounded like ass.

Of all the programs autocad is easily the most backward compatible. It basically hasnt changed since the 90s except they add a new feature every year to make workflow 0.1% faster. You can also remove the ribbon and change to classic interface.

I wonder if there's a catalog of old software that works on recent windows versions.

I used to love the UI of a CD player on Windows 98... I can only remember that, not the name or anything.
