>>
>>45334083
No, sadly it's the least shitty browser around right now.
>>
>>45334083

>>
Is Aurora kill? There is only Dev Edition now.
>>
I was thinking exactly the same bf i read this, OP
>>
>>45334135
You need fucking nasa computer to run it properly. I would never imagine that a browser can lag on any computer.
>>
>>45334576
When does it lag for you?
>>
>>45334135
sure it is if you count the random freezes and memory leaks as features instead of bugs as the devs do
>>
>>45334614
It works like a champ on all my computers. Stop buying Acer laptops at Walmart.
>>
What websites are you guys going to where you have to worry about Firefox crashing?
>>
>>45334664
Netflix, anything with flash. Webm content as well.
>>
>>45334595
>>45334641
Whatever kind of computer you have, a web browser shouldn't freeze or slow down. It is not a video game, it is not a video or 3d editor, there is no excuse for slowing down.
>>
I fuckin' hate how Firefox deals with flash. In twitch if I mouse over the video that is streming it crashes for a sec. If I do it really fast it completly freezes. Fuck that shit!
>>
>>45334681
I agree. But unless you want some second rate browser with no addons and little support. You are stuck with this.
>>
>>45334641
besides what >>45334681
my specs should be more than enough to run a browser without random freezes, after all it runs chrome and IE without them but i'm sure my i7 is just too weak for firefox

>>45334681

Yes it is. Its font rendering is worse, too.
>>
>>45334765
Ok, mate. Not gonna argue, it is pointless. I will just say, I switched from FF to chromium like a week ago. It is a lot faster, videos (both html5 and flash) are faster and never had a crash and it is free. Well, I hate google, but I am not gonna change my browser just because it was made by them.
>>
>>45334083

It doesn't suck on loonix, unless it still crashes GNOME3.

but yeah, it has always been clunky, that was the appeal back then.

why do you think these raging mongoloids shit on FF?

It's their porn browser of choice, shit ain't fun when you have 20 plus windows of flash video in a row. This is especially hard to bear for thinkpad tards.

the problem isn't firefox, it's the internet that sux.

internet has become heavy & bloated with ads, flash, javascript & social media intergration.

firefox being slow as shit has to do with the rendering. in that aspect, chrome is better.

if you just think it looks like shit, either install classic theme restorer or replace firefox with pale moon.

I've used ff forever and adore mozilla [or at least have... not too sure anymore] but lately there have been a lot of problems.

I had to disable system wide my multi touch navigation [3 fingers left for back or right for forwards] because if it was used in firefox it would break scrolling entirely. Text boxes on facebook for some reason [only on facebook] have stopped functioning properly with one of my addons [not really ff's fault], among a lot of other small issues.

It's still the most customizable browser and it is open source.

If there was a better option that supported the addons I need on firefox I'd use it but there isn't.

I still think Firefox is overall the best browser, but it's really taken a turn for the worse. Seems like FOSS devs sometimes go fucking crazy and shit all over their own project with "features" that nobody really wanted. It's like they all want to be the next Steve Jobs but they suck at it.

Sorry, I misread your post. The Firefox 35 thing only happens when you hover.

Still, if it happens when you open a new tab, it's probably a Firefox bug and not Greasemonkey or Appchan one.
