This is the silly thing. I got the Nexus 5 and compared the 1080p screen to the 720p screen for detail. My eyes just couldn't tell which was which, and the Nexus 5 suffers in performance for being 1080p.
Retina is just about pixel density, but there's a limit to where that makes practical sense.

This isn't retards comparing DVD to Bluray and saying they couldn't see the difference. When I owned the Nexus 4, I was already blown away by the pixel density. The Nexus 5 doesn't look any more impressive in that regard.

They used to offer DVD drives, more ports, the option to easily replace stuff etc. but the hard drive sizes were really small and their graphical and processing capabilities weren't that solid.
