I have shorted strictly fewer mobos out of case than in case. Bad idea things can be avoided by simply keeping food and drink off of the computer table. That $5 Ikea breadboard keeps this thing pretty well seated, not bolted onto anything, just sitting there.
I prefer this monitor vertical, but this is a field build so I just got the cheapest/nicest dual monitor option, this fit the bill in a single screen.
