Anyone in these Battlestation threads run a studio arm for a mic?
I'm not sure if I'm going to spend 180 on a yorkville mic stand with a boom arm because sadly I have a shitty tempered glass desk. And for whatever reason, studio arms (to my knowledge) don't have clamps that attach horizontally, or vertically with a 90 degree arm attachment.

I've got a Shure SM7B, so I think I have a mic that warrants it. I have a current stand right now, but to have the arm reach over my desk, the clamps aren't strong enough to reach the full distance without eventually sagging a bit. So for now I just use it for standing delivery.
That's why I wanted something for when I sat at my desk more comfortably. Studio arms are currently out unless I can figure some fancy way to get around the tempered glass, but if I could avoid parking another tripod behind my desk I'd love to save the room.

Looking for case recommendations.
I just got a 212 Evo and it just barely touches my side panel when installed. Had to remove my side fans otherwise I wouldn't be able to put on the panel. Its a shit case I got in a bundle with my very first build I made a couple years ago.
