Sorry, forgot to read the rest of the question. I don't work at all while I'm away, I live off the saved money. I usually look at short term rentals, which are typically around $1000 a month. For internet, I buy a local broadband SIM and put it in a portable WiFi hotspot. Usually where I stay, there's a restaurant near me that I can connect to if I need something more.
