I'm about to buy the OnePlus X as I've heard it's the best budget phone out right now, but I heard that it's also a fingerprint magnet. How bad is it?
no I wouldn't recommend stealing one because if it is ever involved in a crime and used as evidence against you then yes it will be absolutely covered in your finger prints

Honestly you should try the Nokia N9, you can get one of them for pretty cheap
It's a full GNU/Linux mobile phone that runs everything, has revolutionary UX that no phone today has matched and DOES NOT LAG unlike the Oneplus X, the opx was also designed to be a disposable consumer toy unlike the N9
It's design is also top notch, symmetrical in all axis and uses a combo of AMOLED + Clearblack that only other phone that uses it is Lumia 950, the whole OS is designed that you can't even distinguish where the screen starts and ends, unlike the cheap assung amoled in the OPX
I have four N9s and I can tell you no phone today matches it's greatness
The camera is worse than the one in the nexus 5, equals moto g at best

Yep its a really sexy looking phone with that glass back, but unfortunately it makes it extremely slippy and as you said, a fingerprint magnet. It comes with a translucent case that makes up for it though.
