Do you own a 40 Gbps Ethernet switch to stream multiple uncompressed 4K content between your home theater and NAS?
>>45511492
Hate to break it to you, but you can stream several 4k streams over a shitty $10 switch with a 100mbps connection.
Why are you so dumb buying "enterprise" hardware?
>>45511547
I'm not streaming compressed-to-death chink cartoons.
>>45511561
You are not a very clever man if you think you can tell a difference if the bitrate is high enough, but I'm not arguing with a troll who just wasted this much money on a placebo.
Protip for you: All 4k content currently is compressed in one way or another. And even if you had a 4k bluray, those drives have poor read speeds like 11MB/s, meaning I can still stream about 11 of them over a 1Gbit connection.
It must suck to be both dumb and a fail at trolling. Maybe go out and provoke some hobos, but don't get stabbed. They will fight back as opposed when you are hiding behind your dial up connection.

Nice memes.

>doesn't know 40Gbps Ethernet is a real thing
>>45511717
What fucking TV or receiver supports that though?
>>45511717
your reading comprehension or brain seems to be defective, he never said there is no 40gbps
protip: read very slow

>he didn't know fibre channel =/= ethernet
>now trying to get out of it by deliberately misinterpreting what was being corrected

its time to stop posting anon
>Still using deprecated 40 Gbps

Pleb

>Not bundling 16 40Gbit links into an EtherChannel.
Pleb.
Where do you get uncompressed 4K stuff to watch? Lots of home movies spying on neighbors?

Those switches don't look like 10Gbps switches.
>>45513042
>ten ten ten hunnid fuckin gigabits
>10*10*10*100
you're right, they're at least 100Gbps ports

RJ45 has no pratical bandwidth limit nerd, its the signaling and cable assembly that lets it down. Take a 10GbE pass-through cable, the insulation is silicon because normal PVC wrecks your shit.

Why does networking attract all the fucking cornballs ...
>>45513167
Because only retards would continue to work in IT.

I work at a startup.
;__;
I can't wait when YIFY starts releasing 4gb 4K rips.
