I'm checking this out and comparing it to the old tried and tested i5-3570k and I can't find any wattage for it. The i5 is like 77 watts.

Also can't seem to find anything on newegg about temperatures on idle and load.

So we know you have a max budget of $1600 and I can assume by your build so far that you gare making it for gaming, but what I and the rest of the people in this thread don't know is what you are really trying to accomplish with this build. Are you just trying to max out everything at 1080p? are you going to video editing or 3D modeling or something else that is demanding with this rig? We need more information.

It's bullshit though.

I happen to know the difference in game between the gtx 580 and 780 is about 50 percent when it comes to producing actual framerates. It's a big difference but definately not double, I would expect the same from the 560-760 upgrade

An i7 is almost pointless, an i5-4690k would be good enough.

Get a Gold rated PSU, please. Not optional. And 650 is plenty enough, seriously.

Go with a 2TB Barracuda or WD black or something, and maybe even a bigger SSD (although 128 is big enough for me and many others) with the money saved.

Can't comment on the mobo though I think it's really overpriced, and I think the nvidia 970s are better value for your GPU.
