So this piece of china fucking shit.

>The awful plastic feel.
>The goddamn small size of it
Huge minus, especially the second one.

It is so bayed I have to fall back to my Zowie and Steelseries mouses that I still got lying around. Mainly the physical size of it

What mouse do you use ?
>>
I use the G502 and the M65, which is miles ahead.
>>
>>51698278
Have the G502. Since I'm a third-worlder, I had to pay almost $100 USD for it.

Got used to the size very quickly, I use a mix of claw and fingertip grip.
Feels pretty solid to me, even fell off my desk once without suffering so much as a scratch.
That scroll wheel is a god-send.
Perfect sensor.

I dunno, I like it. Sad that you're not satisfied with your purchase, OP. Hope you're enjoying your current mice!

Literally only thing bad about it for me is the aesthetics, but I really don't care. Would be 10/10 if they made it look less flashy and "super serious leet gaymur".

How the hell does the bottom hatch where the magnet weights are stay closed?

It felt firm

opened it first time

now it feels just loose and like it will open up any time
>>
>>51698278
lol that's the mouse iDubbbzTV uses
>>
Is the g302 any good?
>>
>>51698521
Pretty fucking firm, not screwed-into-the-mouse tier but "This motherfucker will not fall off even if I shake it as hard as I can" tier.

Make sure there's no shit in the hatch that keeps it from closing completely, especially making sure that any weights are all the way in.
>>
>>51698551
It's OK, G303 has the G502 sensor and is fucking great.
>>
>>51698553
Fine I'll give this piece of shit another chance.

The small size will be probably big enough issue for me to just stop using this. Just so small.

I'm used to huge trackball mouses and G700s.

>>
>>51698278

I bought that thing
Seems to be made for children/women hands , what with the side buttons actually forcing your thumb into a certain position.
huge rattling loose scroll, heavy as hell even without weights.
Sold it to a kid, his probably happy with it.

Mionix NAOS7000 now, huge assed high quality mouse, probably not ideal for twitch shooting but super comfy for everything else.
>>
>>51698609
>, heavy as hell even without weights.
lol wut my issues are that this is small and weightless
>>
>>51698608
yeah, i wish i could have gotten one without the branding, but when i replaced my g9 with the g9x, it was already discontinued and the cod branded version was all i could get. it's neat that it shows the branding in the driver software, though.
>>
>>51698620

What?
It is very small but its like 120g without weights, a light mouse beings at 65-70g.

You must really like heavy as fuck mice
>>
I want a good mouse that's not a GAMER MOUSE, but is okay for casual gaming (Minecraft, Portal, JRPGs) under $118.
Any recommendations?

I'm looking for a mouse that is big in every direction, since I use palm grip and I don't like when the pinky(? the smallest one) finger is sliding on the table/mousepad

Tried the Naos7000, but its made out of that fucking slippery plastic shit that I just returned it after two days. Hand also didn't really rest naturally on it.

I am simply unable to find any mouse that even compares to the fucking SteelSeries Rival and I fucking hate SteelSeries. The mouse is huge, flat, light and has a perfect sensor as bonus. Simply perfect for palm grip. On my old one the rubber is used up on the sides and the mouse wheel is opening two or three tabs. After looking for a different mouse I just gave up and just ordered the new Rival which apparently has improved rubber.

Danish jews got me. Their shit is overpriced as fuck, but its so good
>>
>>51698278

Finally someone who sees the light among the sea of 502 shills.

The fucking cheap plastic feel kill the whole mouse for me.
>>
>>51699028
its awful feel after i got used to. rubber or that aluminium in some mouses
>>
>>51699026

>>
>>51699026

Slippery plastic? the Naos7k?

The finish on this mouse is probably what I like the most about it.
Sure its not grippy like rubber - but rubber also gets used up as you say.
Delicious dry, non-sweaty plastic with a good texture.

I almost bought the Rival too but its exactly the million
>where my rubber
posts that drove me away.
>>
What is the difference between NAOS7000 and 8200 ? Is it only DPI and that 8200 has acceleration ?
Really digging the 7000 since it doesn't seem so expensive as G502 is in my country and since G502 is apparently small as shit
Any other recommendations for good and huge mice except NAOS7000 and SS Rival ?

Well yeah its definitely not made for that.
I also agree its probably not ideal for twitchy shooters like CSGO and the like (especially if you want to lift it)

But super comfy.

I haven't owned one, it has some textured rubber on it that scrapes off over time, pretty much everyone on the net complained that it was going shit in a year.

The G100s. I wish it were slightly less wide however. But hey, it's very close to the old MX300 which was a favorite of mine back in it's day. I've since grown to love even smaller mice, but it still feels a lot like home.

Also, the am010 is a goddamn fantastic sensor. Logitech is doing a great job with their smoothing-free sensors, I just wish they made mice with good shapes. The g100s is the only one I can tolerate -- so where is it's 3366 successor?

I read the reviews and it's gotten a lot of praise.
>>
>>51700082
well firstly, if my avior 7000 is any indication (not saying it necessarily is but) then the naos will probably last you a while. because the avior has just about the highest build quality i have seen in a mouse.

secondly my experience with amazon germany's customer service has been great so far. i complained about a dell monitor i had bought because it showed a strong yellow colorshift and they sent out a replacement unit before i had even returned the faulty one.

now you don't live in germany so i don't know how that would affect things. but a mouse is not the most complicated device. have a little faith. you'll probably receive a working unit.
>>

Clawgrippable size compared to your hand
>>
>>51700144
Its good if you get one from a good batch.

It has a lens wobble issue
>>
>>51700031

I wish that as well, but they would most certainly get in the way.

So a more realistic wish list for G100s:

- Better mouse feet. Look at Cooler Master's Spawn or Recon as an example -- fantastic feet.
- Better sensor location. Perhaps an entire centimeter closer to the tip of the mouse.
- Better mouse wheel. This thing is a joke.
- Slightly less stiff clicks.
>>
>>51700114

Small, very narrow and with non-existent butt. Ideally, laptop sized mice. I'm hardly alone in this "bizarre" preference. You'll find out soon enough.
>>

>>
>>51700191

I don't understand the question. You mean, a mouse exactly like the G100s with those things? No, no such thing out there. Perhaps you might like Ninox Aurora or EVGA X5 -- both somewhat similar to G100s, but slightly larger. Especially the X5.
>>
>>51700219
No i meant with any design.
What i'm really looking for is a decent mouse with two side buttons and good sensor placement. I was thinking about buying the Roccat Kone Pure Military but idk
Last thing i bought was an Avior 7000 and sent it back because it was defective or something (the cursor was going wherever the fuck it wanted). I'm using a WMO atm but its trackspeed is too low, i can't do flickshots fast enough sometimes

>>51700144

>>
>>51699929

>>
>>51700273
probably not defective at all, it's just that the 3310 sensors, while very accurate, are also very picky on which surface they work properly or at all even. your best bet is a black surface. soft- or hardmat.

i have a qck and it works great generally but i just found out today after many months of using my avior 7000 that if i rotate the mouse ~45° it starts to track horribly. stutters like crazy. at 90° it's fine again. on my old desk if i tried to use the mouse there directly on the table suface the cursor would not move AT ALL. not a millimeter.

so yeah, for all the talk that goes around about the perfect sensor. mind the fact the 3310s are really picky. but when they work they do it well.

The mouse was working fine for about 4 hours then started doing that shit. So i tried to clean the already clean sensor (there was no dust, it was brand new), tried any surface other than my mouse pad and even reinstalled the firmware (the latest on oc.net) but nothing worked. Honestly €70 mouses shouldn't do stuff that even €5 chinese shit doesn't do.
>>
>>51700273

>No i meant with any design.

There's plenty of them out there. Go to overclock.net's mouse section and ask for a recommendation fitting your description.

Maybe you're one of the lucky ones who'd like the G303.

Avior is a heavy mouse, I wouldn't even think about any flickshots with a 100g brick.
>>
>>51700144
I have it and its awesome. Unfortunately, mine was from the first iterations and came with the known "rattling sensor" issue. There is a video on Youtube on how to fix it and it hasn't gave me any problems since.
>>
>>51700355
did some more testing just now. not entirely accurate about rotating the mouse what i wrote there. i don't know what's going on. there are just some spots right now that don't track as well it seems? i don't what's going on. it doesn't usually do this. whatever.
>>
The g502 is a bit small but the sensor is amazing and the dpi thumb button is a god send, the settings and macros are also stored to the mouse, I plugged my mouse into my linux machine and I was pleasantly surprised when the buttons for media/music worked.

i don't like how they look or feel but many people do and it's said to be accurate.

My first optical mouse coming from ball mice was pic related, I went through a fuck ton of them and then got a G1.

I then went to a G3 when Lasers were all the hype and a G9x when it died.

Went back to the classic shape and a lighter mouse with the G100s which I had to fucking RMA within half an year do to the left click not registering properly, the replacement started having the same fucking problem within months, later found out while it had a great sensor, it used chink Omron switches which failed spectacularly. There are reports here that the G90 outlasts the G100s at half the price.

Snapped up a G303 when it came on the market just as I was about to pull the trigger on a G302.

I love the G303 and will probably be using it for many years to come, too bad it costs 75USD where I live or I would have stocked up on it. Much better than the G9x because of the full plastic.

My gripe with the G9x was that the rubbery anti sweat coating would wear down and get all melty and flaky. I do miss the hyper scroll wheel from time to time, but I'll live without it.

On my test computers and at the office I went through a bunch of random mice before settling with the M90, no fuss durable cheap mouse, I mean really really cheap, as in I won't throw a tantrum every time some fucker steals my mouse cheap.
>>
>>51700463

There is no "gyrometer" in the G502. There is a gyroscope in the g402 and it allows for higher tracking speed, though few can reliably hit the am010's limits without the gyroscope.

The reason Logitech's recent offerings are popular is because they are smoothing-free which indeed contributes to a very raw feeling, which you can (and should) equate with precision.

The shape of this mouse is perfect for me. So damn comfortable coming from that fucked up shape of the 303.

Sensor isn't as good as the 303 for sure, but it's not bad either.

For less than $20, this Etekcity Scroll 6e isn't bad at all. Pretty damn comfy (dat ergonomic grip), adjustable DPI up to 4000, not to mention the extra buttons on the left side; however, I don't like how easy it is to accidentally middle-click on it. Still, I definitely could've done worse when it comes to cheapo mice.

Had the deathadder for a short period, wiped it down with a cloth one day to clean it which somehow removed the paint/coating from the clicker, rmaed it for a new then one sold it and bought a Logitech instead

Loved the rubber side grips at first but they get kind of warm and greasy feeling after a while, prefer just plastic now as it is cooler to the touch and does not build up hand grease/sweat nearly so easily

Right now I have a Logitech G602 which is honestly the best mouse I've ever used. I had no idea how much I'd appreciate not having wires on my desk but it's been such a big bonus to clear it up for a wireless mouse. Not to mention the battery life is fantastic and the response rate and usability is great, I have never thought to myself "Shit I wish this was wired" since getting it.

So I decided to get a bluetooth keyboard and a headset just to remove more cables, the keyboard is a k480 and the headset is this HDMX headphone thing. Both are pretty good and you can argue (And correctly do so as well) that the typing quality/Music quality isn't as good as it would be wired, the comfort I gain from the lack of wires is well worth it to me to give up that little bit of quality.

Now my question is why are there so few bluetooth mice? I see a handful with low ratings, with the Logitech MX master as being the higher end mouse with still okish reviews. Are there any good bluetooth mice or should I just stick with the G602?

I'm not a gamer or anything but I don't want to spend money on something that is just MUCH worse than what I currently have just to save a USB slot from the dongle the 602 uses.

Bluetooth mice are for laptops, and aren't built to be as responsive, stick with the G602.

The G602 feels responsive because it uses a dedicated high bandwidth receiver instead of the the normal Unifying dongle that connects multiple devices.

Most cheap etekcity mice are great for normal gaming, say call of dooty or League. This is coming from a guy with the scroll x1 m555. Great mouse for its price point, a little heavy which is negative.

I ended up taking the weights out since I play competitive games like CSGO. The sensor for some odd reason started acting like it doesn't want to work anymore. When playing on low dpi low sens it does a poor job at flick shooting.

I come from pic related, trying to move onto a decent mouse for gaming and browsing. I have a a bit of a claw grip though I do rest my palm a bit in the rear end of the mouse.

Leaning towards the G502 for the free scroll wheel, high DPI with minimal smoothing and all crazy amount of programmable buttons it has. Its price is attractive as well 61AUD it is one of the cheapest high end mice out there. I hear however that the scroll wheel is slippery and it is too fast in free scroll mode and too slow when locked. Doesn't look far off from my microsoft mouse so I might find it comfortable.

The cyborg rat7 costs too much at 115AUD with less features but is highly customizable as far as ergonomics are concerned. Price tag is off-putting however.

Cougar 700m is 89AUD with less features than G502 but it looks more robust, especially the interchangeable weights being at the top. The elevation of the palm rest can be changed easily and the palm rest is swappable. I like its design but the G502 offers way more bang for the buck.

Steel series rival looks alright at 69AUD, looks more ergonomic but it doesn't have as many features as the G502 which costs a few dollaroos less.

Heard a lot of bad things about razer mice durability so I am avoiding them like the plague.

I am worried about the G502's durability, primarily the feet at the bottom peeling off and the more complex scroll wheel getting jammed.

Doesn't hurt to try it once and see the difference for myself. Certain mice can be handy for certain video games, and some of the extra buttons can be put to good in applications besides gaming.

It's like how people prefer to buy a steering wheel or joystick to play their racing games and flight sims.

Beside video games, If you are doing a lot of CAD design and modeling work there are trackball mice that would certainly cost more than $10.

>If you pay over $10 for a mouse, you're an idiot, end of story
ignorance at its finest, if your $10 mouse is sufficient for your needs then good for you, some people would like more than 3 buttons, higher DPI, and be able to fine tune their mouse's ergonomics for a more comfortable fit.

A $10 mouse will work for most applications but it won't be the best experience for all applications. It wouldn't be wise to spend a fortune on one if you are not going to use any of its features that much would be true.

planning on getting a G502, what kind of mouse pad do you use with more expensive mice, cloth or hard surface? I want my mouse to last

Apparently hard surface wears out quickly even with moderate use in a few months, while cloth damages the feet of your mouse quicker depending on how coarse the material on the surface is.

Hard surface sounds more appealing since there is less friction but I don't want to keep buying new ones every 3 months, cheaper to buy replacement feet at that point. I'll try both the G440 and G240 they don't cost that much anyway then stick with the cloth one if the hard surface pad craps out as they say.

If you keep cleaning the gunk that accumulates at the bottom of you mouse with rubbing alcohol would that improve durability of a hard pad?

Cloth sounds comfier if you are just resting your hand and browsing with less pressure on your right hand's wrist. Not comfy if you are moving around rapidly constantly rubbing your wrist against it would be worse than rubbing it on a wooden surface.

I have one of those large ass green cutting mats which works fine on my cheap mouse whose feet are worn out, but apparently the feet on proper mice stick to it so it will probably wear them out quicker since it is a little rough.

You can never win with these things, someone should make a teflon mat or a fucking ceramic tile mouse pad. I think I have a few large 400x400mm smooth ass beige ceramic tiles in the shed might as well try it.
>>
>>51715047
nope, tried and it failed miserably, the surface is not flush too many bumps in it and the mouse can't track on it for shit.

Leaning towards G602 as it has a good sensor and battery life. Kind of hate the excess of buttons though. Currently have a M$ mobile 4000 that honestly is great if it has LOS. Well, there are no moving parts except for the microswitches. The mousewheel uses an optical interface too. My LMB started double-actuating like a year back but stopped after I gave it a good hit.

The front casing broke on mine, but I don't think I'll ever need another mouse. The sensor is great and it supports 1kHz polling which is still the optimum with USB mice (there are some 2kHz ones out there now though I think). The only things that can give in are the microswitches and the sensor LED but you can always solder in new ones for those.

Is there such a thing as a good bluetooth mouse?

Every bluetooth mouse I see on Amazon or anywhere has shit reviews. Is it just because bluetooth can't handle the bitrate a mouse requires for accurate tracking or is there some other reason?

MX master seems to be the only reasonably rated one but it's fucking $100

This, this mouse is godlike.

>have rechargeable batteries so switching is easy and pretty much free
>no annoying cord to hold you back
>fast enough for gaming, no lag

If this mouse dies, I am immediately replacing it with another one. Even if it cost me twice the money as before. This mouse is god.

The only thing wrong with it is the middle mouse button, its kinda flimsy, broke down two time already.

I don't know about that, the keyboard and headphones I have are pretty good. Of course they're not as good as a wired version but I just like no wires so much that it makes up for it

Where are the large mice for people with large hands. Everything I use is super tiny and nothing is comfortable. I'm not talking fat here, I just have big wide hands with large fingers.

Yeah I'm kind of prejudiced against bluetooth since the early devices were so terrible.

Why not get a usb nano receiver mouse?

I have this mouse and its still too small for my massive hands.

I wish I could find a mouse that fits :(

Small. But it's hard to find a small claw grip mouse with back/forward buttons and a good sensor.

I'm thinking about getting one of these zowie mice, which one should I get? There seems to be multiple mice that are almost identical to eachother

Does anyone else hold their mouse with their pinkie dragging on the pad?
