WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH STALLFUCK?
>There are organizations that proclaim support for free software or the GNU Project, and teach classes in use of nonfree software.
>It's possible that they do some other things that really support free software, but those classes certainly don't. On the contrary, they work directly against the free software movement by promoting the use of the nonfree software.

You see, Linus and the most of open-source motley crew want to make open-source popular and better (because popular things have better support, more contributors etc.). They care about the quality and want to make technology better.
But Stallman and staledrones think quality is secondary and popularity is tertiary. The most important thing is ***free as in freedom*** software, even if it sucks. They're paranoid tinfoil hat wearing manchildren who think that this one binary blob required to make your wifi driver work is a NSA tracking program harvesting informations about their unusual porn collection to blackmail them in case of them becoming presidents, revolutionaries, CEOs of big companies or something.

That's practically it, others focus on realistic ways to increase the popularity of open source stuff, but Stalmman doesn't give a shit because of his one-minded obsession with muh purity.

The entire free software movement is a political and social movement that argues that proprietary software is evil to society.

"Free as in freedom" is most important for when we have freedom, then we can always improve the software we need to be perfect.
